One of the tasks of the OP JAK project - Photomachines - is the development of a robotic system for high-throughput phenotyping of phototrophic microorganisms, cyanobacteria and microalgae.
The Photomachines project is conducting research in metabolomics, proteomics and lipidomics to identify microalgae with antiviral activity and substances for the treatment of specific types of cancer. To be successful in our research with high application potential, we need state-of-the-art technology.
On 18-19 April 2024, the introductory scientific conference of the Photomachines project was held at the Institute of Microbiology of the CAS in Nové Hrady. The leaders of the individual specialised tasks presented their solutions to the individual challenges.
